ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

PREPARE
Light preparation is always recommended before your body work session, to make the most of our offering.

  • Drink plenty of fluids prior to your session.

  • You’re welcome to wear whatever you like, but we recommend something comfortable. You’ll be asked to undress to your comfort level for your session.

  • Don’t forget to bring anything that might increase your comfort like hair ties, ear plugs, etc. We try to have those on hand for your use, but they are not always available.

ARRIVE
Here are a few reminders to keep in mind when you are arriving for your session.

  • Please arrive five minutes early. Please refrain from arriving more than five minutes early to ensure the privacy of other clients.

  • Street parking is available on Second Street and the parallel and cross streets. Parking can be limited, so please plan accordingly.

  • When arriving please be mindful that someone may be finishing their own session, so please quietly utilize the front waiting room until you are welcomed back to the session space.

2

RELAX
While you are enjoying your treatment we appreciate clear communication and honesty.

  • Please share if you have any injuries, or areas we should avoid during your session. Let us know if decreased or increased pressure is preferred once we have begun. Our goal is to make you feel as comfortable as possible. If you need something, just ask!

  • During your massage focus on deep breathing techniques. This will allow for a more relaxed treatment. Often I choose to work in silence in order to concentrate.

TAKE CARE
The session has ended but the work is ongoing. Make sure to get the most out of your session.

  • Sip water and enjoy a refreshing face towel after your session.

  • If you’re able, spend time outside, drink plenty of water for the remainder of the day, and move with as much ease as possible.
