Techniques

We offer a wide range of practices and techniques that can be utilized during your session. When booking your session please keep in mind the 30-45 minute sessions address a specific area of the body that requires relief, 60-minute sessions are dedicated to full-body or area-focused relief, and 75-minute sessions (or more) will cover full-body relief.

  • Traditional therapeutic massage, promoting relaxation through gliding, kneading and percussion techniques.

  • Reducing chronic tension with slow and specific pressure to particular muscle groups.

  • Following energy channels on the front and back of the body, finger pressure is applied at specific points in order to create space and oxygen flow.

  • Increasing range of motion through active and passive movements

  • Light finger and hand pressure along head, neck, and back, to relieve chronic pain and tension. a beautiful way to recalibrate the nervous system. client is fully-clothed during cranioscaral therapy.

  • Softening and reducing excessive tissue build-up, improves healing time and circulation.

  • Stimulating energy points with essential oils, incorporating specific body oils based on time of year and dosha type.

  • The use of hot and cold therapy to flush muscle tissue and to promote circulation and blood flow.

  • Standing beside or on the massage table, therapist provides compression techniques to relieve tension.

  • Gentle massage techniques to relax the abdominal muscles and the pelvic region, a great way to address gastrointestinal and menstrual pain.

  • Gentle and sustained pressure applied to fascia, the connective tissue that provides support around every structure within the body. no oils are used during myofascial release.

  • Deep and consistent pressure utilizing feet and body weight.

  • Application of sustained pressure along areas of tension. upon releasing pressure client will feel a deep sense of relaxation and increased range of motion.

  • Gentle full body massage for expectant mothers, 2nd and 3rd trimester only.
